Microsoft Announces New Product Names

As of April 21, 2020, Microsoft is renaming its subscription-based Office 365 products. If your organization uses any of the following versions, here’s what you’ll see:

• Office 365 Business Essentials >> Microsoft 365 Business Basic
• Office 365 Business Premium >> Microsoft 365 Business Standard
• Microsoft 365 Business >> Microsoft 365 Business Premium
• Office 365 Business >> Microsoft 365 Apps (for business)
• Office 365 ProPlus >> Microsoft 365 Apps (for enterprise)

For now, only the products’ names are changing; you won’t see any pricing or feature changes yet.
